Cellist | Collaborator | Educator

Cellist David Dietz has performed across North America, Europe and Asia and is comfortable in a wide range of settings as a performer and educator. His belief in classical music’s ability to strengthen communities and bring people together has driven his involvement in many creative projects spanning from kindergarten classrooms to concert halls. Recent season highlights include recitals at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Beijing’s Central Conservatory of Music, a series of community concerts in the Houston Public Library system with Trio Menil.

    David will perform an eclectic program of chamber music for strings and horn as part of Tamarack Brook Music Festival’s 2026 season.

    July 17th at 5:30pm | Rutland, VT

    David will perform a salon-style chamber music concert featuring works for violin, cello and piano as part of Tamarack Brook Music Festival’s 2026 season.



  • Tamarack Brook Music Festival: Uprooted

    July 19th at 2pm | Rutland, VT

    TBMF 2026’s mainstage concert, uprooted,  explores themes of the loss of home. Featuring contemporary and historically forgotten pieces alongside masterworks, this program delves into the human experience of migration and war while illuminating the beauty of a multicultural world.
